Steve Nollau

Steve Nollau   Steve Nollau has a broad and deep perspective on the world of advertising, marketing and brand strategy. He spent the first part of his career in the advertising agency business, in Account Planning and Management. This included 10 years at DMB&B where he managed the Budweiser brand, the agency’s largest and oldest account. Later, Steve switched to client side marketing, first at Taco Bell Inc., where he was Vice President of Field Marketing and Sales and then at McDonald’s Corp, where he served as VP Marketing.

Steve also understands and appreciates front line marketing, having designed, developed and franchised his own food service concept, “Blenders California Juice Bar,” in Southern California. Now, Steve has come full circle, focusing on his true passion, Brand Strategy and Consumer Insight.

After graduating from The University of Missouri with a degree in Journalism, Steve’s first job was at Hughes Advertising in St. Louis, where he first met Bob Cuneo. The two worked together again at DMB&B, where Steve was Sr. VP, Group Account Director and Bob was VP, Creative Director.

Steve and Bob had long talked about going into business together, but were always afraid that doing so might “mess up a great friendship.” The two finally decided it was time in 2002, when they became Partners and co-owners of Brädo Creative Insight. “It’s really been an incredible run for both the business and our friendship,” said Steve. Both have grown tremendously and “we’re having a great time doing what we love.”

Today, Steve summarizes life at Brädo this way. “I get to work with the most talented, passionate and fun loving people I have ever been around, in the coolest office space I’ve ever worked in. And, I can legitimately say that we are one of the best in the world at what we do. It doesn’t get any better than that.”
