Job Description
We are seeking a mid-level copywriter to join our growing editorial team. The person who fulfills this role will write short- and long-form copy for a wide range of deliverables. They will clearly communicate complex healthcare topics in a user-friendly, digestible way. 

Our Copywriter Will:

  • Interpret creative briefs and client needs — and ask helpful questions to fill any gaps necessary to complete assignments
  • Write clear, compelling, persuasive copy for email campaigns, websites, newsletters, brochures, social ads, video and radio scripts, and other B2B and HCP copywriting deliverables
  • Adapt to different industries and audiences
  • Adapt to each client’s tone, style, and voice guidelines
  • Revise content based on internal and client feedback
  • Proof copywriting deliverables and internal documents for spelling, punctuation, and grammar 
  • Collaborate with our editorial, account management, project management, client engagement, and design teams

Ideal Candidates Will Have

  • Experience writing for print, digital, video, social, and mobile platforms
  • Excellent research skills and the ability to interpret and clearly communicate complex concepts
  • A strong grasp of A.P. style guidelines and the ability to proofread and edit copy for grammar, accuracy, clarity, flow, voice, and actionability
  • The ability to develop persuasive messaging around business and marketing objectives
  • Impeccable time-management skills and respect for deadlines
  • The ability to receive and act on constructive criticism
  • A proven track record of improving copy based on internal and client feedback
  • The professionalism to present work internally and, on occasion, to clients

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, advertising, or related field
  • 4+ years of copywriting experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

Preferred: experience in email marketing, advertising concepting, and writing for healthcare professionals and organizations
