Video Production Coordinator

The Video Production Coordinator will be involved in every aspect of the video production process, from start to finish. They will participate in idea meetings, script writing, storyboarding, shooting, editing, and finalizing video content for various marketing initiatives.  

The job requires flexibility with working with many different projects and clients at once. 

Key Areas of Responsibility 

  • Aid in creating and developing multimedia (audio/visual) content for marketing videos, training videos, product videos, highlight videos and social videos 
  • Assist in the script, storyboard, and allocate resources for product videos 
  • Collaborating with other creatives including designers, photographers, producers, illustrators to finalize projects 
  • Identify and request resources needed on the project team by allocating roles needed to complete the work within the project team (resource management) 
  • Updating project management software on a daily basis and accurately logging time (Mavenlink) 
  • Work closely with the producer on all projects from start to finish 
  • Expertise of general video production process 
  • Ensure critical documents and deliverables are stored in the MS Client Teams project channel 
  • Run time spent reports for client project team and assist with basic project time tracking needs 

 Qualifications & Additional Basic Responsibilities

  • Financial experience with areas like budgets, bookkeeping, invoicing, and/or Enterprise level accounting software 
  • Team-management and leadership skills 
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities 
  • Experience with project management tools (Mavenlink experience is preferred) 
  • Documentation management 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Accounting, Communications, Video Production or related field 
  • Good communication skills and the ability to listen actively and ask questions to clarify project goals, requirements, and deadlines. 
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, methodical and detail-oriented 
  • Able to work effectively independently and as a part of a team 
  • Strong sense of urgency with the ability to multi-task and juggle many responsibilities at once while meeting deadlines 
  • Able to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced and dynamic environment while paying close attention to project details 
  • Well-versed in video trends and digital media best practice 
  • Proficient with Adobe Suite especially Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Audition  
  • Strong Communication abilities with both written and oral skills, teamed with proofreading skills
